Emperador Marble

Origin: Spain
Color: Brown with high concentration of white and beige veinings
Classification: Marble
Hardness: Low

It doesn’t fear heat, however it’s suggested to use a heat resistant mat; it can also be scratched or ruined, and for this it’s suggested to use a cutting board.
For a good maintenance we suggest to clean with water or neutral/slightly alkaline detergents, specific for marble. It’s necessary to repeat periodically (at least once in a year but it depends on the use and on the maintenance of the client) the surface treatment with the specific treatment indicated, underlining that the use of protections doesn’t make the top immune from acidic and greasy substances, but it simply delays the effect of them. Always clean top when the stain is fresh even from water, to avoid the insurgence of limescale stains

Description of the material:
Since it is a natural stone, its vein patterns may be different in each piece, concentrated areas of color may occur, and there may be light and dark patches within the same slab. Due to their structure, some veins may have a duller finish; in view of its fragility, brittle areas, tiny cracks and
veins repaired with filler or resin are very frequent in this material. Always remove all spills (even water) from the top at once to prevent lime-scale stains from forming.

Vulnerable to products such as:
– cleaning products not specifically intended for marble, and especially limescale removers,
– acidic and oily substances (cola, lemon juice, citrus, fruit juices, wine,
vinegar, oil, coffee, etc.), which might stain or dull the material.
